It was September 2003.

I finally decided I wanted to try martial arts. I found ITF Taekwon-Do with the UKTA through my long time instructor Master Andrew Whiteley VIII Degree. I achieved my 1st Degree in 2010, a year later my 2nd Degree both of which under First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha. I then went on to attain 3rd Degree in 2013, 4th in 2016 and 5th in 2022.

From 2004 to 2017 I was an avid competitor racking up numerous national titles across patterns, sparring and power test. I took my first European bronze medal in 2011.

My coaching career began as early as 2009 as I was shown the ropes on conducting classes and developing students. After 20 long and rewarding years I decided to part ways and set up Reading Taekwon-Do in January 2024.

It's here where I turn my full attention to taking my own students on a remarkable journey through ITF Taekwon-Do while developing confidence, extraordinary power & strength while forming bonds which last a lifetime.
